Saturday Weigh-In
Today I lost 2.8 lbs!! Yay!! Total of 7.2.
Some of you were asking me what plan I was following. No, it's not spark people. That's great if you can do it online, but I cannot! I did it for a while, but it was short lived.
I am doing weight-watchers new program. It's working well for me so far! Of course, I AAAMMMM still nursing which gives me MEGA bonus points. I can eat like 32 points a day. Nice.

Saturday Weigh-In
Not that great of a week. I only lost 1 lb., for a grand total of 4.4. I didn't follow my goal of writing things down, so we will try that again. Maybe that will help??? But hey, 1 lost is better than 1 gained, right?

Domestic Day
My friend and neighbor (Mona) and I had some ants in our pants to be domestic today, so we decided to make salsa. We had a blast! I didn't use quite as many tomatoes as I thought and have a lot left over, with no more jars. Any ideas?
Does this not look like barf???? It is peach salsa, I swear!!!
For my next domestic display, I have this great idea to make the cutest Sandi Henderson pants. They are ruffly and darling and if I were smart enough to add the link here, I would. But I am not. I am also not that great of a seamstress. For you sewing divas out there (and you know who you are) with Sand's step by step instructions and color patterns do you think I can do it? Is it worth the investment?

New Years Day
On New Years Day we had a great trip to Hole in the Rock. We had so much fun hiking around, and having a picnic. Brandon brought a spyglass telescope and enjoyed peeping at the people below. Who knew how many people actually pick their noses!! The hike is not really much of a hike. More like a stroll. The picture can be a bit deceiving. Even Alexa made it to the top. Perfect hike for our family. Brandon and Jake felt very accomplished, without much exhaustion. It really was a blast.
I think I took about 20 photos and they were ALL terrible! Someone had their eyes crazy in every single one! Can you believe?
Jake was a bit worried while we were eating our lunch at the bottom. He's not used to being in the desert and was afraid of strange animals. I caught him on video asking us if there were any of the lizards that go like this...
Saturday Weigh-In
Good Morning! My weigh-in is -3.4 lbs. I think my goal this week is to keep my food diary. I always start out strong on that and by Monday give up. On average you lose twice as much weight if you write it down!

Happy New Year!!
I think I am REALLY happy to say good bye to 2008, with hopes of a better 2009.
We had a fun party last night with a couple of neighbors over. Who wants to drive with a bunch of drunk maniacs on the road?
The boys played MarioKart almost all night. The girls messed around in Ainsley's room. We had LOTS of good food. See the seance-loing picture? That's actually the kids playing dreidle with skittles. A definite hit, Mona! Maybe next year we should have a hannuka party?
We adults played lots of games, including What were you Thinking, MadGab and Cranium. We also played Settlers of Catan which inspired us to have a monthly game night. It's been so long! We used to play games all the time before we had kids!
And New Years came at New York time. Then again at midnight. Ainsley did not want anything to do with the noise makers. She was all about her ear-piercing shrieks. I can still feel the trembling on my ear drums. The neighbors must have imagined someone was being tortured.
Anyway, we had a great time!
Now on to the New Year dieting. I think if I document that, I will feel more motivated (or embarassed!) I will post on Saturday my progress for the week (without the specific starting point.) Give me some encouragement, okay?
