A little of this and a little of that...
Ryan dressed up as Cher for Valentines Day. Wow! Yeah, that was a surprise!
Actually we had a fun day with soccer, cleaning etc. But we ended with a wonderful steak dinner and the kids loved it.
Of course I had to throw in another climbing shot of the monkey.
I neglected to add my Saturday weigh in. I lost 1.5 lbs last week. Yay!
And I wanted to share an idea I am doing for Ainsley's baptism. (Courtesy of Julee, Ryan's sister!) If any of you are having your first get baptised, I thought this was a GREAT idea! We had all the family (including grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, siblings, parents, you get the picture) write letters to Ainsley sharing their testimonies. There are a few who aren't comfortable with THAT, but were more than happy to just write a letter sharing their love and excitement on her special day. We added pictures of them together and created a book special for her on Shutterfly. It cost about $30, but is so special, it's worth way more. We LOVED this idea Julee did for Katie and Bella, and I KNOW Ainsley will love it, too!
Hope this helps someone in need of a tradition! Have a great day!!!

I did the same thing for my kids at their baptisms, but I didn't actually go make the official nice book--how wonderful! We just passed out paper to their guests during the 'waiting' period after they were baptized and before they were confirmed to write their testimonies down. I love what you did with the picture thingy. hmmm....maybe another blurb book?! My Vivs does the samet hing with the DW...drives me crazy!!!
Okay first, I can't believe Ryan let you post that pic! Hillarious--that combined with the 'dancing in the rain nekked' info from FB...I'll never be able to look at him the same again.
Alexa is such a monkey! It gives me a heart attack just seeing the pics!
That is an awesome idea for Ainsley! That will be so special for her. You're such a good mommy!
Oh, what a a great idea!! We will be doing that for sure!
What a neat idea!!! Shutterfly is soo cool. (: Oh, I LOVE the pic of Ryan. Any guy that is man enough to wear a Cher wig is like Gold in my book. LOL!!!! So FUNNY! Congrats on the weight loss too!!! You seriously rock!
- One last thing, good LUCK with the little monkey butt. My youngest was a monkey butt too, oh wait, she still is. That is how she broke her foot last year (jumped out of tree), go figure??? :p
Alexa looks so cute on the dishwasher! We definetly have two little monkeys!
What a great idea for her baptism. I'll need to remember this when Becca gets baptized.
We are so happy for Ainsley!
