This little freak

What kind of mom calls her kids a freak? That would be me!! There is no other word to describe her after last night.
AAAAAH!
Ainsley was up all night long.
#1 "I'm hearing voices in my head. It's a lady. She's screaming and won't stop"
#2 (I hear talking in her room and go back in) She is staring at the mirror over her bed screaming at her reflection. "Go away! I told you not to come back here. GO AWAY!"
#3 She's walking up and down the halls. I came out of bed once again to see what is was this time. "He FORGOT! Brandon FORGOT! He was supposed to meet me here after spring break. But do you see him? NO! He forgot!"
#4 I'm not really sure. Ryan took care of this one.
#5 "HELP! She's back! The lady screaming in my mind. She's like a poison and she won't leave!"
OK, is that enough? It was certainly enough for me. I hopped in bed with her and spent the rest of the night there. Of course her room is next to the garage and I could hear the ktty meowing all night (the lady screaming?) and I never slept.
In case you haven't guessed it, that sweet daughter of mine had a fever. She notoriously hallucinates and has crazy crazy dreams when she has even a tiny temperature.
Anyone else have problems like this or am I alone?

That is kinda frieky! My question, does she remember later? Hang in there

Claire seems to have night terrors or nightmares because she will scream No No and she won't stop. Nothing will get her to stop unless we just let her cry but then Malissa, who shares a room with her can't sleep either. Well I hope you have a better night! Good luck!

Poor little LOVE!!! and Mommy too!!! My girls both had nightmares when they were little (and so did I vividly). Kayla was the worst though. When Kayla was little and was ill her imagination would run rampant too. Nightmares galore - crazy, scary stuff (people with no skin?). I remember sitting next to her bed (for hours) I would play soft peaceful music for her and tell her stories of peaceful, beautiful places to help her mind rest and let her drift off to sleep. It really seemed to help.

Poor little lovey.

I know it's not funny, but it was funny reading it. Poor Ainsley... actually, poor mommy! Hope you got a nap today (yeah right)!

This happened when Caroline was about 2 1/2. She had "animals." She was screaming that animals were getting her and was crawling into the corner of her bed. We held our screaming kiddo and took her to another room. The animals were getting her there too. In our bed. On the sofa. At the computer where I tried to hold her and research fever hallucinations. They were attacking her feet.

And then in the morning she was all better. Then end.

It has never happened since but she does get frequent fevers that seem to be gone within a few hours.

ellison totally gets hallucinogenic when she gets fevers. I'll take that any day over the febrile seizures Jackson and Caroline had, however...

now go get some sleep! :) (freaking cat)
